In its formative years the business traded as Davis and Roberts Real Estate within the former Hunter Village between King and Hunter Streets.

Howard Shedden joined the company in 1975 and purchased the real estate agency in 1985: Howard has been successfully selling Real Estate in the local region for over 30 years. 

In 1991, Davis and Roberts became Nationwide Realty Howard Shedden and relocated from the Hunter Village to 507 Hunter Street, Newcastle.  The agency became independent and was renamed Shedden Real Estate in 1993.

Shedden Real Estate streamlined its business in the early 2000's, moving away from property management to focus all its attention on real estate sales. The foundation of the business has been built upon high ethical standards and client satisfaction.

In 2008, Howard entered into a partnership and later formed a company with Tiron Manning.  Tiron has injected his passion for real estate and innovative marketing strategies into the business. 

In 2010, Shedden Real Estate released a fresh new logo, colours, slogan and exciting new website.  The new slogan, Expect More reflects Shedden Real Estate's delivery of the highest level of service and results to its clients. 

In September 2011, we relocated the agency to an office at 356 Hunter Street, Newcastle, opposite the Darby Street to take advantage of greater visibility and passing traffic.
